WHAT IS MOISSANITE?
Moissanite is a rare, naturally occurring mineral also known as Silicon Carbide, which was first discovered by the Nobel Prize-winning chemist Dr.
Henri Moissan at the site of a massive meteorite strike in Arizona.
WHERE DOES THE NAME MOISSANITE COME FROM?
Moissanite was named in honour of its discoverer, French Nobel Prize-winner chemist Dr. Henri Moissan.
WHAT IS STELLARIT?
Stellarit is a 4H crystalline polytype of Silicon Carbide. It’s a lab created, eco-friendly, conflict free, never mined gem, which is not a diamond simulant
or diamond substitute.
HOW IS STELLARIT CREATED?
Each Stellarit gemstone is hand cut, which allows to achieve the highest level of brilliance, fire and luster. This process is complex, expensive and
time-consuming, which excludes mass production.
WHAT TYPE OF CRYSTALS IS STELLARIT MADE FROM?
Stellarit gemstones are made from the next-generation 4H Silicon Carbide crystals. These are whiter and purer than 6H Silicon Carbide crystals.
WHAT’S THE BRILLIANCE (REFRACTIVE INDEX)?
Refractive index of a gem is the ability to capture and reflect white light. The higher the refractive index, the more brilliance the gem emits.
WHAT’S THE BRILLIANCE (REFRACTIVE INDEX) OF STELLARIT?
With the exceptional refractive index of 2.66-2.71 Stellarit displays more brilliance than diamond or any other popular gem.
WILL STELLARIT EVER LOSE ITS BRILLIANCE?
No. Bloomline LLC provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty which guarantees that every Stellarit will maintain its brilliance forever.
WHAT’S THE FIRE (DISPERSION)?
Fire is the dispersion of white light into rainbow flashes. The more dispersion a gem has, the more amazing colour effects it will demonstrate.
WHAT’S THE FIRE (DISPERSION) OF STELLARIT?
Stellarit’s dispersion is 0.104+, which is 2.5 times more than the fire of a diamond.
WILL STELLARIT EVER LOSE ITS FIRE (DISPERSION)?
No. Bloomline LLC provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty which guarantees that every Stellarit will maintain its fire forever.
WHAT’S THE LUSTER?
Luster is the amount of light that is reflected back to the viewer from the surface of the gem.
WHAT’S THE LUSTER OF STELLARIT?
Stellarit has 18% greater luster than a diamond which makes it simply dance with light.
WILL STELLARIT EVER LOSE ITS LUSTER?
No. Bloomline LLC provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty which guarantees that every Stellarit will maintain its luster forever.

WILL STELLARIT CHANGE COLOR WITH TIME?
Stellarit is an extremely stable gemstone, and it is impossible for the color to change with time.

WHAT’S THE HARDNESS (RESISTANCE TO SCRATCHING)?
Hardness refers to a gemstone's resistance to being scratched or abraded and is commonly expressed as a number ranking (1 - the softest and 10 -
the hardest) on Mohs relative hardness scale.
WHAT’S THE HARDNESS OF STELLARIT?
Stellarit is durable, tough and extremely resistant to scratching and abrasion. With the hardness of 9.5, Stellarit is harder than all other gemstones
WHAT’S THE TOUGHNESS (RESISTANCE TO BREAKING)?
The ability of a gemstone to remain intact, withstand force (pressure) and resist breaking or chipping is known as toughness.
WHAT’S THE TOUGHNESS (RESISTANCE TO BREAKING) OF STELLARIT?
Stellarit is one of the toughest known gemstones. It’s highly resistant to breaking and chipping. Bloomline LLC provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty that
protects against damage to the stone.
WHAT’S THE DURABILITY (HEAT RESISTANCE)?
Durability is a materials ability to remain intact or withstand exposure to temperature and chemicals.
WHAT’S THE DURABILITY (HEAT RESISTANCE) OF STELLARIT?
Stellarit exhibits more heat resistance than many other gemstone, including diamonds. Stellarit can easily withstand temperature variations (up to
1800oC) during the jewellery manufacturing process.
WHAT IS CARAT WEIGHT?
Carat (Ct) is the traditional measuring unit of a diamond's weight. Moissanites are slightly lighter (approximately for 10%) than diamonds. So while a
6.5mm round diamond weights 1.0 carat, a 6.5mm moissanite weights 0.88 carat. However, the two stones would be the same size in diameter.
WHAT ARE STELLARIT CUT STANDARTS?
Each Stellarit gemstone is cut according to strict standards, using exact angles and proportions designed especially for our gemstone. Expert
gemstone cutters hand-facet each stunning gem to bring out its superior brilliance.
WHAT IS HEARTS AND ARROWS (H&A) CUT?
|The most ideal cut available today. When viewed from the top (crown), an
ideally cut gem reveals eight symmetrical arrows. On the other hand, when the
gem is viewed from the bottom (pavilion), it reveals eight symmetrical hearts.
This cut gives the gem superior light performance, unrivalled beauty and
precise optical symmetry.
WHICH SHAPES ARE AVAILABLE FOR STELLARIT?
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY STELLARIT?
You may clean your Stellarit using mild soap and water or non-acid based jewellery cleaner. An ultrasonic cleaner can also be used as with all fine
CAN STELLARIT WITHSTAND REPAIRS?
Stellarit is an extremely stable material with high hardness, toughness and durability. These features make it resistant to scratching, breaking and
heat, therefore Stellarit is very unlikely to be damaged during repair.
WILL MY STELLARITE COME WITH A GRADING REPORT?
Yes. Bloomline LLC provides independent third party laboratory grading report for each Stellarit that is 0.5 ctw or larger.
